Venue
The conference will take place at the Centro de Juventude (Câmara Municipal) in Vila do Conde (Portugal), a city located ~30km from Porto.
The venue is located at the centre of Vila do Conde (14 mins. walk from the Vila do Conde metro station). Participants coming from Porto or other nearby cities will need to use the red line (B line) of the Metro.
Social Events
23rd July › The welcome reception will be held at walking distance from the main accommodation options at Vila do Conde, in Centro de Memória de Vila do Conde.
We will also have a city tour in Vila do Conde, a walk to a rocky shore and a guided tour to the National History and Science Museum Biodiversity Hall in Porto.
27th July › The conference dinner will be held at the last night of ISOLBE.

By metro
The venue is located close to the centre of Vila do Conde (12 mins. walk from the Vila do Conde metro station, 25 mins. from the city centre). Participants coming from Porto or other nearby cities can use the line B (red line).The conference venue is easily accessibly by Metro, through the station “Vila do Conde”. This station is in line B (red line), running from Porto to Póvoa de Varzim.

By air
If you are coming from Porto Airport, take line E (purple line) and exit in “Verdes”; then, change to line B (red line), direction: “Póvoa de Varzim” and exit in “Vila do Conde” metro station.
By car
To reach Vila do Conde by car you can take the A28 highway, which can be easily reached if you are coming from Porto or the airport. Take the highway towards the North (in the direction of Vila do Conde / Viana do Castelo) and leave at exit 15 (signalled “N206 – Vila do Conde”). To reach the conference venue, follow directions towards centre/courthouse (Tribunal in Portuguese) or Jardim Júlio Graça, all in walkable distance to/from the venue.
